Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Caregiver / Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide high-quality, non-medical in-home care to our clients. Caregivers play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life while remaining safely in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing
- Dressing and grooming
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Eating and meal assistance
- Ambulation and mobility support
- Transfers and positioning
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping and daily routines as assigned
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Maintain accurate care documentation using a smartphone
- Promote client safety, comfort, and well-being at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional home care caregiving experience
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
- Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background screening
- Ability to pass a physical examination, TB test, and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with client mobility
- Comfortable using a smartphone for clock-ins, scheduling, and care documentation
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Must be willing to work in at least two of our service areas: Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Sacramento, and Folsom
