Prodigy Pest Solutions is seeking a skilled and dedicated Rodent Exclusion & Wildlife Technician to join our growing team. This role is vital in ensuring the safe and effective exclusion of rodents and wildlife from residential and commercial properties, along with performing necessary repairs to prevent future intrusions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rodent exclusion, roofing, construction, or a related field, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to responsible, customer-focused pest and wildlife management.

What Does a Day in the Life Look Like?
Perform interior and exterior inspections of customer properties, including roofs, attics, crawlspaces, and other confined spaces to identify rodent and wildlife entry points and potential vulnerabilities. Install preventative exclusion materials such as screens, vent covers, door sweeps, chimney caps, and other barriers to prevent rodent and wildlife access. Conduct minor repairs to rooflines, siding, foundations, and other areas where rodents or wildlife may gain entry. Set and service traps, and safely remove rodents and wildlife from properties in accordance with company protocols. Maintain accurate records of services performed, materials used, and customer interactions. Provide detailed reports and review completed scope of work with customers. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided and address any ongoing concerns.
Qualifications What do you need to be successful?
High school diploma or equivalent required; no college degree necessary. Valid driver's license. Proven experience in rodent exclusion, roofing, carpentry, construction, or other related fields. Ability to work in the field independently. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Comfort using basic software and mobile applications for reporting and scheduling. What Does the Work Environment Look Like? We go where the rodents and wildlife go! Candidates must be physically capable of safely performing the following job duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to drive to various locations, often covering large territories. Frequent walking, standing, and moving through diverse types of terrain, including uneven ground, stairs, roofs, and sometimes slippery or muddy areas. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme heat, rain, etc.). Must have the ability to climb stairs and ladders safely. Must be able to crouch, kneel, bend, and stretch frequently. Capability to carry and use equipment necessary for inspections and exclusion work (traps, ladders, inspection tools, etc.). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Clear verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
