Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of cranes and heavy equipment at construction sites and other work locations.
Duties:
- Operate cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines for crane operation
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Rig loads for lifting and ensure proper balance and stability
- Handle materials with precision and care
- Operate other heavy equipment such as backhoes and forklifts as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with cranes
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques
- Ability to dig, build, and maneuver materials on construction sites
- Experience in commercial driving is a plus
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Crane Operator
- Proficiency in operating various types of cranes
- Knowledge of construction site safety regulations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
