PT Mental Health Technician

Healthcare Residential Options (HRO) are seeking compassionate and skilled PT Mental Health Technicians to join our team. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing routine and assigned tasks, as well as assisting the nursing department in carrying out patient care activities. Responsibilities:
Perform direct care duties to assist patients in maintaining personal dignity and safety
Participate as a member of the treatment team in the implementation of the multi-disciplinary treatment plan
Provide driving/transportation and patient escort services
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
0-1 year of related experience preferred
Ability to work under close supervision with distractions/demanding patients and to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to communicate effectively with all departments
Knowledge of basic first aid required
Knowledge of program policies and procedures regarding infection control and sanitation
Ability to complete assignments accurately, in a timely manner, and within procedural guidelines
Organizes and prioritizes work
