Job Description
As the Manufacturing Supply Chain and Forecasting Manager, you will be responsible for developing accurate short-, mid-, and long-term forecasts using historical trends, market insights, and cross-functional business inputs. You will translate demand signals into actionable production and capacity plans, helping ensure the right products are available at the right time while minimizing excess inventory and shortages. You will lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, partnering with key stakeholders to align forecasts with company objectives and customer needs.
In this role, you will focus heavily on continuous improvement — using data to evaluate forecast accuracy, identify risks and opportunities, and implement strategies that strengthen supply chain performance. You will ensure alignment with company goals, maintain readiness through proactive planning, and champion Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, or an equivalent field
- 3–5 years of leadership experience
- Experience with forecasting, demand planning, production planning, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes
- Proficiency leveraging ERP/MRP systems and forecasting tools to drive decision-making
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Proven ability to build and lead strong teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
- Background supporting a multi-brand or multi-site manufacturing operation
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, operations, and finance stakeholders
