Premium Window & Door Specialist
REPORTS TO: Premium Window & Door Manager
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Premium Window & Door Specialist is responsible for delivering the Talbert Difference in the sales, service, and marketing of premium window and exterior door product lines sold by Talbert. The position will work with the department Manager and Coordinator to profitability grow Talbert’s Premium Window & Door business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with contractors, homeowners, architects, and Talbert sales reps to determine specific window and exterior door needs

Explain the features and benefits of premium window and door options

Prepare take-offs based on architectural drawings

Train the Premium Window & Door Coordinator on Talbert processes/systems and vendor software programs

Working with Premium Window & Door Coordinator, ensure accurate and timely quotes and orders
-
Measure openings before placing orders if necessary

Ensure that customers sign-off on special orders before issuing vendor POs
-
Review quotes, orders, POs, vendor confirmations, and all process documents that require accuracy

Communicate with customers and team members to verify expectations are clear and aligned

Work with installers and manufacturers to ensure that windows and doors are installed per manufacturer requirements

Ensure warranty and service requests are handled promptly

Consult with Talbert Installed Sales to facilitate installs

Maintain a current and extensive knowledge base of product offerings

Keep literature and displays in showrooms current with the most up-to-date products and information

Help develop and manage promotional and marketing pieces

Participate in training seminars and required meetings

Monitor open orders, specials waiting for stock, backorders, pending credits, supplier returns, quotes, scheduled deliveries, and all outstanding work to ensure timely resolutions and customer service

Answer sales and internal calls with a positive attitude and a willingness to assist
