Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, precision measuring instruments (such as ammeters and ohmmeters), and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and maintenance on low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Operate equipment such as scissor lifts for access during maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
- Perform welding using welding techniques when necessary for equipment fabrication or repair projects.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic systems for leaks or failures; analyze system performance to identify root causes of malfunctions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or industrial environment with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices.
- Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters confidently.
- Strong analysis skills combined with excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to perform electrical maintenance on low voltage systems safely while adhering to all safety standards.
