Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean bar area, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Manage inventory levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly while providing accurate change.
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry or nightclub environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Proficient in math skills, including retail math for managing tabs and processing payments.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes and beverage preparation techniques is advantageous.
