Grand Health Institute is seeking an experienced Sleep Technician to join our growing, close-knit team of healthcare professionals. We have opportunities available at our Coconut Grove (Miami) and Broward (Fort Lauderdale) locations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare adult and pediatric patients for overnight sleep studies, ensuring they feel comfortable throughout the process.
- Perform equipment calibration and maintain accurate patient documentation.
- Conduct standard and complex overnight polysomnographic (PSG) recordings as ordered by the physician.
- Continuously monitor physiological data to ensure patient safety and study quality.
- Obtain vital signs and other clinical information necessary for physician interpretation.
- Remain attentive and responsive throughout the overnight study in a low-stimulation environment.
- Score sleep studies (preferred but not required).
Qualifications:
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Certified Polysomnographic Technician, or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of healthcare-related experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly preferred.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work overnight shifts.
