Duties
- Plan diverse menus that cater to various dietary needs, including special dietary departments, while maintaining cost efficiency and ingredient freshness
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring timely preparation for restaurant service, catering events, and banquet functions
- Manage inventory control to minimize waste, optimize stock levels, and ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless food service experiences that exceed guest expectations
- Supervise kitchen operations during shifts, including food handling, cooking, plating, and maintaining cleanliness standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management with a strong background in fine dining cuisine and banquet services
- Extensive culinary experience including food preparation, cooking techniques, menu planning, and catering operations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the hospitality industry
- Experience managing inventory control systems and overseeing kitchen operations efficiently
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate staff and ensure smooth shift management
- Background in food industry roles such as culinary arts or hospitality management is highly desirable
