Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Newborn Care Provider to support families in caring for their newest family members. In this vital role, you will provide expert care for infants during their earliest stages of life, ensuring their safety, comfort, and healthy development. Duties
- Provide attentive, loving care for newborns, including feeding, diapering, soothing amd bathing
- Monitor infants’ health and development, recognizing signs of discomfort or illness and communicating with parents and healthcare providers when necessary
- Follow personalized care plans to support each baby’s routine and developmental milestones
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment that promotes healthy growth and exploration
- Assist with sleep routines and gentle comforting techniques to promote restful sleep for infants
- Document daily activities, feeding schedules and diaper changes
- Collaborate with parents or guardians to ensure consistency in care practices and address any concerns promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in infant care, babysitting, nannying, or daycare environments with a focus on newborns
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification to ensure safety at all times
- Strong background working with children of various ages, including toddlers and infants
- Experience caring for children with disabilities or special needs is highly valued
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with families and/or healthcare providers
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, patience, and professionalism
- Experience with multiples is a plus
- Demonstrated caregiving skills including nurturing, patience, attentiveness, and adaptability
