Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Receiver / Storekeeper to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse. Duties
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Load and unload goods safely using forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Prepare outgoing orders by picking, packing, and staging items for shipment in accordance with order specifications
- Maintain accurate stock levels through regular inventory counts and updates in our warehouse management system (WMS) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software
- Organize storage areas for optimal space utilization, stocking shelves efficiently, and ensuring easy access for order picking and fulfillment
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including documentation, labeling, and coordination with logistics providers
- Support warehouse distribution activities by ensuring timely order fulfillment and proper packaging to prevent damage during transit
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and stock management
- Certification in forklift operation, reach truck driving, pallet jack handling, and RF scanner usage preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and MRPs
- Strong basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and calculations related to order processing
- Knowledge of e-commerce fulfillment processes including picking & packing for online orders
- Ability to load & unload goods safely using various material handling equipment such as forklifts and loaders
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in stock levels and order processing
