SPIRAL PAPER TUBE MANUFACTURING - PAPER CREELER/TUBE STACKER
GUIDE TO THE POSITION – DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Part of production team operating spiral paper tube manufacturing equipment.
2. Watch line and anticipate paper breaks and material run-outs.
3. Load heavy rolls of paper onto creel and splice ends of paper together.
4. Clear minor machine malfunctions and assist during product changeovers.
5. Catch tubes as they come off line, check length and help with banding/palletizing
6. Identify tube flaws and quickly report issues to manager
7. Keep production area tidy and clean equipment at end of shifts.
8. Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and attendance requirements.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
A. Reports to: Production Line Operator and Plant Manager
SPECIFICATIONS OF THE POSITION.
A. Minimum education required: High school graduate or GED preferred
B. No experience required, but some forklift experience would be good
C. Working conditions: Typical Manufacturing Plant
D. Hiring day shift: 10 hours/day, 4 days per week (M-TH) - occasionally Friday O/T
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
** Applicant must be able to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis
** Applicant must be able to move around the production equipment quickly
** Applicant must have great attention to detail, is organized and aware of surroundings
** Applicant must be able to work minimum 40 hours per week
** Applicant must be quick learner, good attitude and strong work ethic
** Bilingual English & Spanish preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
