We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Bakery to lead our vibrant baking establishment to new heights. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive profitability through effective management of staff, food quality, and operational efficiency. Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of the bakery operations, including baking preparation, service, and staff supervision to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Oversee inventory control, food safety standards, and adherence to health regulations to maintain top-tier quality and compliance.
- Manage POS systems such as Toast POS, cash handling, and sales reporting.
- Train, develop, and motivate staff through effective onboarding, ongoing training programs, and performance evaluations.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Conduct shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet business demands while controlling labor costs.
- Analyze profit and loss statements regularly to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a bakery or restaurant management with a strong background in food industry operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety management, and food handling procedures.
- Ability to manage budgets, perform profit and loss analysis, and implement training & development initiatives effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in interviewing, staff training, team leadership, and managing hospitality teams.
- Previous experience in a baking or restaurant management roles including assistant manager responsibilities is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of fundraising, events, and marketing.
- A passion for hospitality combined with a proactive approach to managing shift schedules, customer service standards, and food production processes.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
