ESTIMATOR – UNDERGROUND UTILITIES & SITE DEVELOPMENT

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Estimator for a growing underground utility and site development company specializing in commercial, civil and residential work in South Florida.
This leadership role is responsible for driving accurate, competitive pricing strategies that support profitable growth while positioning the company as a leader in the marketplace.
The ideal candidate will be highly experienced with hands on experience estimating underground utility, grading, roadway, and infrastructure projects and brings both technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze plans, specifications, and project scopes to develop reliable cost projections and budgets.
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals for underground utility, roadway, grading, and site development projects.
- Develop and maintain strong subcontractor and vendor relationships to secure best-value pricing.
- Mentor and support estimating staff while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Utilize historical cost data and market intelligence to refine estimating strategies and improve project outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive estimating experience in underground utilities, grading, and site development.
- Expertise in preconstruction and estimating processes.
- Proficiency in HCSS, Bluebeam, and other industry-standard estimating software. AgTek experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with municipal, residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects preferred.
