Job Summary
Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established medical device manufacturer in the Youngsville area who is looking for a Medical Device Quality Inspector to join their team. This is a great contract to hire opportunity working from 6am to 4:30pm Monday-Thursday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming inspections on medical device components, raw materials, and sub-assemblies using precision instruments such as gauges, torque testers, force gauges, and vision systems.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections, including drop tests, leak tests, and dimensional measurements, to ensure compliance with product specifications and regulatory standards.
- Follow established sampling plans and utilize visual and mechanical inspection techniques typical of regulated manufacturing environments.
- Accurately document inspection results in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Identify and report non-conformances; support root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain thorough and organized inspection records and support internal and external audits.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience performing incoming and in-process inspections in a regulated environment.
- Prior experience in receiving inspection, including use of sampling plans and vision systems, is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of cGMP, ISO 13485, and other relevant quality standards.
- Skilled in the use of inspection tools and instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, and microscopes.
- Experience in medical device manufacturing or other similarly regulated industries is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
