Position Summary:
The Pool Service Technician is responsible for maintaining proper pool operations for customers. This hands-on role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well as part of a team in outdoor environments.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the condition of customer pools
- Opening, cleaning, and closing pools
- Pressure testing the plumbing of the pool pump systems when needed
- Set schedules of operations of pumps, heaters, and lighting
- Pool equipment repairs and/or replacements
- Plumbing corrections, repairs, and replacements when needed
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
- Collaborate with other crew members and the Service Manager
- Communicate with clients over the phone and on-site as needed
- Update service call information and take pictures to be stored using the RB Software tablet app
- Troubleshoot on-site issues
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in pool construction or general outdoor construction
- Knowledge of pool plumbing, filters, chlorinators, salt systems, and heater/coolers
- Understanding of pool chemicals and how to balance pool water
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- OSHA 10/30 certification is not required, but it is a plus
- Pool service certifications are a plus
