Ocean Sushi & Ramen is looking for friendly, dependable servers to join our team.
We are currently hiring primarily for morning and weekend shifts. Evening availability is a plus, but most new hires will start with lunch and weekend shifts while learning our menu, service standards, and restaurant procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
- Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Learn the menu and be able to answer questions and make recommendations
- Maintain clean and organized sections throughout the shift
- Complete opening, running side work, and closing duties as assigned
- Work as a team with hosts, bussers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management
- Assist with takeout orders and other restaurant needs when necessary
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of serving experience at the same restaurant required
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Weekend availability required
We're looking for experienced servers who have demonstrated reliability and commitment by maintaining at least one year of employment at a single restaurant. Candidates with a stable work history and a strong understanding of restaurant service standards will be given priority consideration.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
