Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Supervisor to join our skilled nursing facility team in St. Petersburg, Florida. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing overnight operations, supporting clinical staff, ensuring quality resident care, and maintaining a safe, organized environment during night hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support nursing and support staff during overnight shift
Ensure high standards of resident care and safety are maintained
Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical and operational issues overnight
Monitor staffing levels and assist with assignments as needed
Respond promptly to emergencies or resident concerns
Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and safety protocols
Complete required documentation, reports, and shift hand-off communication
Qualifications:
Current Florida RN or LPN license (required)
Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience strongly preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and manage overnight operations
Must pass background screening FL Clearinghouse | Florida Agency for Health Care Administration
