Busser / Food Runner

Rockaway River Country Club is a premier private country club dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences and outstanding member service. We are looking for energetic, dependable, and team-oriented individuals to join our Food & Beverage team as Bussers/Food Runners.
Position Summary
The Busser/Food Runner plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service by ensuring food is delivered promptly, dining areas remain clean and organized, and servers have the support needed to provide an outstanding experience for our members and guests. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately.
- Assist servers by clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables efficiently.
- Refill water, bread, condiments, and other table necessities as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized dining rooms, patios, and service stations.
- Polish glassware, silverware, and other dining equipment.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down banquet events, weddings, golf outings, and club functions.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
- Restock supplies throughout each shift.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Provide friendly, professional service to members and guests at all times.
- Perform additional side work as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds throughout the shift.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
