The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for attracting, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding top talent across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop recruiting strategies, deliver exceptional candidate experience, and ensure new employees are successfully onboarded into the organization.
This position serves as the primary point of contact throughout the hiring process and plays a key role in strengthening Nextlink's employer brand, improving recruiting efficiency, and supporting organizational growth.
Essential Functions:

- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for exempt and non-exempt positions.
- Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and hiring priorities.
- Create and maintain compelling job postings across multiple recruiting platforms.
- Source candidates using job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, and proactive recruiting techniques.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and leadership.
- Facilitate candidate communications throughout the hiring process.
- Extend employment offers and negotiate within approved compensation guidelines.
- Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.
- Coordinate all pre-employment requirements.
- Facilitate background checks and pre-employment screenings.
- Prepare offer letters and new hire documentation.
- Coordinate new hire orientation.
- Ensure all required employment paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Partner with HR, IT, Payroll, Facilities, and department leaders to ensure employees are prepared for Day One.
- Track onboarding completion and identify opportunities to improve the onboarding experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Previous experience in a role such as a Coordinator, Admin Assistant, Human Resources or similar.

Physical Demands:
- Stationary position for 8-10 hours a day
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment.
Working Hours/Days:
- Full time
- 40 hours
- Occasional overtime as needed
Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel between company locations and attend recruiting events as needed.
