This CDL-A local driving opportunity offers home-daily schedules, approximately $86,233 in average annualized earnings, paid driver-assist stops, strong benefits, and consistent local work.
You’ll work a Wednesday–Sunday schedule, with Monday and Tuesday off, and return home after every completed shift.
THE MONEY
Average Annualized Earnings: $86,233
Your compensation includes multiple ways to earn:
- $0.54–$0.58 CPM
- $45 for each driver-assist stop
- $25 per doubles load
- $300 per paid holiday
- Optional 6th day for additional income
- $20/hour paid training
- $30/hour training overtime
This is more than a mileage-only driving job. Your stop activity and additional assignments can add meaningful income.
HOME EVERY DAY

Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday
Days Off: Monday & Tuesday
Start Time: 12:00 AM–3:00 AM
Average Workday: Approximately 11 hours
Home Time: Home after every shift

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You'll haul palletized grocery freight throughout the Sumner/Tacoma area.
- Approximately 1,110 miles per week
- Approximately 17 stops per week
- Local operating area
- Automatic transmission

- Grocery delivery freight
$45 DRIVER-ASSIST PAY
This account offers substantial additional pay for driver-assist work.
Approximately 90% of stops involve driver assistance. Depending on the delivery, you may use an electric pallet jack to move freight toward the rear of the trailer or assist with unloading.
Driver-assist pay: $45 per stop.
DOUBLES PAY
Approximately 40% of loads involve doubles.
Doubles pay: $25 per load.
A doubles endorsement must be obtained within 60 days of hire, and the cost is reimbursed by the account.
WINTER WORK
This is the Pacific Northwest, so drivers must be comfortable installing tire chains when conditions require them.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
You don't need years of experience to qualify.
Minimum: 3 months of qualifying Class A tractor-trailer experience.
You'll receive approximately 2 weeks of training.
