1. PRIMARY
Reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and is responsible for assisting and providing support for Product Deployment and Extreme Customer Care in a very diverse range of projects. Supervision will be directed primarily by the Sales/Technical Manager, but self-supervision is required on many tasks. Facilitate travel engagements and correspondence with high level management teams in the Forest Products industry. Reports on deployments, system integrations, and product enhancements features for continued growth.
2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Required to travel to customers’ sites (up to 35%) for Product Deployment, field service, team training, testing of prototypes, all primarily within the continental US, limited world travel.
· Operates test equipment including multi-meters and Oscilloscopes.
· Gathers, reviews and reports on experimental data as directed by the supervisor.
· Documents and tracks progress of projects as directed by the supervisor.
· Fabricates prototype analysis reports on customers to produce strategies for enhancements.
· Troubleshoots system failures and customer training deficiencies.
· Creates and manages support documentation of projects.
· Must be able to read and interpret electronic schematics, instructions, and specs.
· Excellent electronic, communication and system troubleshooting skills are essential; must be able to perform repairs in a high-level environment.
3. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Must have excellent communication (oral and written).
· Good time-management skills are essential.
· Must be highly organized, detail oriented and possess extreme ownership of tasks.
· Must possess and utilize a strong problem-solving aptitude and apply as required.
· Must a have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, passport a plus.
· Familiar with travel accommodation bookings a plus.
Must have at minimum an associate degree or equivalent years’ experience in electronics or computer science. Must have a minimum of 5 years of electronic and/or system troubleshooting. Must have experience with upper-level communication skills to work with company owners, CEOs, plant managers and superintendents, and other team members at lumber mills. Must have experience in data gathering and reporting on products and customers.

Pay: $26.35 - $32.95 per hour
