Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Industrial Corporate Finance Controller to co-lead our financial operations within the Container and Trailer industrial sectors. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving strategic financial planning. Your expertise will help optimize financial performance, streamline accounting processes, and support sustainable growth. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and possesses a strong foundation in both corporate and accounting practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the entire financial reporting cycle, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial statement preparation
- Lead the development of budgets, forecasts, and cost analysis to support operational decision-making and strategic planning
- Ensure regulatory compliance with accounting standards, and other relevant regulations.
- Supervise accounting teams responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities to maintain accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct detailed financial analysis using spreadsheets and Excel data analysis tools to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Oversee cash management strategies, treasury management activities, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for internal stakeholders and external regulators, including regulatory reporting requirements.
- Maintain robust internal controls to ensure integrity of financial data and compliance with audit standards
- Implement and manage accounting systems such as QuickBooks or other enterprise software to enhance operational efficiency.
- Facilitate accounting practices and transactions while ensuring adherence to accounting regulations
- Lead the financial close process, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and double entry procedures
- Support finance team management through coaching on technical accounting concepts such as cost accounting analysis, account analysis, and account reconciliation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Proven experience managing accounting teams within industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of compliance, and accounting standards.
- Extensive experience with financial software such as QuickBooks or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Demonstrated ability in financial report writing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel data analysis tools for complex spreadsheets and data modeling projects.
- Deep understanding of treasury management practices including cash flow forecasting and liquidity optimization.
- Excellent communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and presenting findings to diverse audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
