Aya Healthcare has an opportunity for a Referral Specialist to support a 13-week contract with a facility in Liberty Lake, WA.

- Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:30AM TO 5:00PM
- Pay: $22-25/hr
- Type: Contract
- Length: 13 weeks (Eligible for extensions based on future department needs)
- Onboarding: 1-2 weeks
SUMMARY OF REFERRAL SPECIALIST
Referral Specialist initiates a variety of external and internal referral processing and skilled clerical duties in support of the physician offices. Communicate with internal and external medical offices and insurance companies to ensure provider referral requests are processed timely and accurately. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of the Health System.
DUTIES OF REFERRAL SPECIALIST:
- Referral processing.
- Obtains insurance authorizations.
- Scanning and faxing.
- Preparing/maintaining records.
- Responding to correspondence.
- Ability to answer a multi-line phone system.
- Adheres to established company compliance, policies, procedures and protocols.
- All other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR REFERRAL SPECIALIST
- MUST have EPIC experience.
- Must have experience working in Work Queue's.
- Must have at least one year of experience working in a Medical Office conducting insurance authorizations.
