Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene routines, to promote independence and self-care skills.
- Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans.
- Implement individualized behavior management strategies aligned with approved care plans for children with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Deliver direct behavioral therapy using evidence-based techniques such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), ensuring consistency and fidelity to protocols.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, behavior logs, and client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients’ families and caregivers to provide updates, reinforce strategies at home, and support client communication efforts.
- Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering compassionate patient care in various settings, including home-based environments.

Experience
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of special education principles and behavior analysis techniques.
- Experience implementing ABA therapy protocols in clinical or home settings is advantageous.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation practices.
- Previous home-based behavioral experience or school experience supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while maintaining professionalism and ethical standards.
- Strong client communication skills to build rapport, motivate progress, and support families throughout treatment.
