Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour supervision and a safe & nurturing environment for children in a WeCare residential home
- Supervise and monitor the daily activities of the children
- Conduct daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration
- Implement and follow behavior management plans
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement individualized care plans for each child
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of the children's progress and behavior
- Provide emotional support and guidance to children in times of need
- Coordinate and participate in recreational activities and outings for the children
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
-Obtain and maintain foster parent licensure requirements
- Experience in providing care for individuals with special needs, such as dementia care, home care, direct support, or patient care
- Knowledge of child development and behavior management techniques
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Strong conflict management and problem-solving skills
- First aid and CPR certification is preferred
