Position Summary
As a Licensed Customer Care Specialist, you'll be the primary point of contact for our clients, assisting with policy changes, billing questions, claims support, renewals, and general service needs. In addition to delivering outstanding customer service, you'll identify opportunities to educate clients about additional insurance products that better protect their families and assets.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys customer interaction and wants to grow within a successful insurance agency.
Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Requirements

Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (Required)

Life & Health License preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Minimum 1 year of insurance agency experience preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable discussing insurance coverages and recommending additional protection

Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office

Experience with agency management systems (Applied Epic, EZLynx, HawkSoft, AMS360, or similar) is a plus
Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and text.

Assist clients with policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and billing inquiries.

Process insurance documents accurately and efficiently.

Explain coverages and answer policy-related questions.

Review customer accounts for coverage gaps and recommend additional products when appropriate.

Cross-sell Auto, Home, Life, Umbrella, and other insurance products.

Follow up on outstanding underwriting requirements and customer requests.

Assist clients with claims questions and guide them through the claims process.

Maintain accurate customer records within agency management systems.

Work closely with producers and other team members to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

Meet agency service standards and production goals.
