Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Part Time Pharmacist, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and medication management.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately while adhering to all state and federal pharmacy laws.
- Dispense medication and provide medication therapy management services to patients, with a high level of autonomy and decision-making authority
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapies and provide medication counseling.
- Support patient care initiatives by administering immunizations.
- Collaborate with the Supervising Pharmacist (Pharmacist-in-Charge) and other pharmacy staff to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the pharmacy
- Utilize pharmacy software and Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS) to process prescriptions.
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns about medications and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications
- Valid NJ state pharmacist and immunization license with practicing experience as a licensed pharmacist.
- Proven experience in retail pharmacy setting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The candidate should have a strong work ethic, integrity, be ready to grow professionally, and be willing to work in all aspects of our pharmacy business.
- Proficiency in Micro Merchant/Prime Rx

Pay: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour
