Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable HVAC Driver/Helper to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the field of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), supporting installation, maintenance, and repair projects. As an HVAC Driver/Helper, you will assist experienced technicians by transporting equipment, materials, and tools to job sites while gaining valuable hands-on experience in HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will help ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
Duties
- Safely operate vehicles to transport personnel, HVAC equipment, tools, and supplies to various job sites.
- Assist senior technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems and plumbing fixtures.
- Support field service activities by preparing work areas, handling equipment repairs, and troubleshooting mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Aid in the setup of HVAC/R systems by following detailed schematics and HVAC design plans while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Perform basic equipment repairs and maintenance tasks such as welding or using specialized tools to support ongoing property maintenance projects.
- Help with appliance repair tasks related to HVAC systems or refrigeration units as directed by senior technicians.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and service reports for each job site.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or property maintenance is highly desirable but not necessary.
- Entry level position. If you have any interest in HVAC, this is the place to start.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
