This full-time position supports our skilled nursing and personal care residents by preparing quality meals in a fun, team-oriented environment.

As a Cook at Fairmount, you will:

Prepare meals according to standardized recipes and dietary needs

Ensure food quality, nutritional standards, and safe food temperatures

Maintain sanitation and safety standards

Assist with kitchen cleaning and equipment care

Support special events and catering functions
-
Interact with residents during mealtimes

Help create a welcoming dining experience

Provide guidance to Dining Services team members in the absence of the Lead Cook

Experience with large quantity food preparation preferred

Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Ability to read, write, and follow instructions

Basic culinary math skills
