We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker / Delivery Helper to support daily operations in our cabinet shop. This role is responsible for loading and unloading cabinet deliveries, organizing materials, and riding along on delivery routes to assist with drop-offs. The ideal candidate is hardworking, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively under supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Load cabinets and related materials onto delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
- Unload incoming shipments of cabinets and materials.
- Organize and maintain materials in the warehouse.
- Ride along on delivery routes as a helper, assisting with unloading and placement at job sites.
- Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform other warehouse and delivery duties as assigned by management.
Skills And Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work under direct supervision and follow instructions.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both in the warehouse and on the road.
- Previous warehouse, delivery, or material handling experience is preferred but not required.
Work Environment & Requirements
- Ability to work indoors, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and riding along on delivery routes
Compensation
- Starting pay: $18.00 per hour
