Dialysis Registered Nurse
Shift: Variable shifts, 4 or 5 days a week, Sundays off.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Dialysis to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, particularly in dialysis treatment, and will be committed to providing high-quality nursing care to patients with renal disease.
Responsibilities
- Administer dialysis treatments to patients, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during treatment sessions.
- Perform patient assessments and document medical histories accurately.
- Collaborate with nephrologists and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, dietary restrictions, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in the management of complications related to dialysis treatment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year previous dialysis nursing experience.
- Current RN license and BLS certification
