GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:
Under the direct supervision of the Scottsdale Providence Facilities Manager; support staff are responsible for overseeing day to day operations within housing and clients in relation to their concurrent treatment while at Scottsdale Providence Recovery Center.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Converses with Scottsdale Providence visitor to obtain information in relation to purpose of visit, explains/directs visitor to appropriate Scottsdale Providence staff person.
2. Provides basic office procedures information to Scottsdale Providence staff requesting assistance/clarification.
3. Monitor clients ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
4. Demonstrating behavior congruent with recovery.
5. Ensure clients are following their schedule on time.
6. Assists in assuring monitoring clients self-administered medications, adhering to all medical compliance.
7. Monitoring client’s food intake and physical health.
8. Daily reports to clinical supervisor on client’s daily behaviors and attitudes, documented in charts.
9. Assists case manager in setting appointments and filing.
10. Completes all other tasks assigned by supervisor.
11. Provides transportation to and from counseling center, appointments, airport, as well as to and from 12-step meetings and off-site activities etc.
12. Assists the Facilities Manager and clinical operations Manager with
planning sober activities on weekends and during non-programming
hours.
13. Serve as peer support for clines struggling in their recovery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum High School Diploma.
2. Minimum 1 year sobriety. Any exceptions must be approved by the
Executive Team and or the Clinical Operations Manager.
3. Must be able to pass entry and random UDS to ensure no illicit
substances are being used.
4. Must have good organizational skills, ability to work well with frequent interruptions and have a good command of the English language. Capable of dealing in a courteous and tactful manner to a wide variety of the public sector.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
