Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Roofing Crew Lead/Forman to supervise and work alongside a roofing crew on residential and commercial roofing projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with extensive roofing knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to safety, quality craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise roofing crews on daily jobsite operations.
- Install, repair, and replace roofing systems including asphalt shingles, metal, TPO, and other roofing materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and project specifications.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget.
- Train, mentor, and motivate crew members while maintaining high workmanship standards.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and customers regarding project progress.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and resolve problems in the field.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
- Complete daily reports, material usage logs, and time records.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of roofing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or foreman role.
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial roofing systems.
- Ability to lead crews of 3–10 employees.
- Experience reading plans and measuring roofs.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Ability to pass background check and/or drug screening if required.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
