American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU/CCU night shift position at a smaller independent community hospital in Colorado, requiring a minimum of 3 years of critical care experience and Day 0 CVICU competency.

Work setting is a smaller independent community hospital located on the I-70 Corridor between Denver and Grand Junction, CO
-
Unit covers both the CVICU and CCU, with access to 2 Cath Labs, one of which is a Hybrid Cath Lab
-
12-hour night shifts (1900–0730) with weekend rotation required
-
Must agree to participate in the call rotation, taking 1 call shift per 2-week period if requested due to staffing needs
-
Floating to Acute Care/Med-Surg may be required based on staffing needs

13-week contract

Active CO RN license or Compact RN license currently in good standing (Nursys verification required)

Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS

Minimum 3 years of RN critical care experience required

Day 0 CVICU experience required (able to manage CVICU patients from admission)

Strong CVICU clinical skills required

Flu vaccine required — no exemptions

DOB or SSN required for candidate consideration

CAPS (Colorado Adult Protective Services) background check required — may take up to 2 weeks to obtain

Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
