We are seeking dedicated Teacher Assistants and Floating Teachers who are passionate about early childhood education and eager to support our mission of helping every child shine.
Responsibilities
- Support Lead Teachers in implementing engaging daily classroom activities and routines.
- Assist in monitoring and documenting each child’s growth and development.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Assist with daily care routines, including diaper changes, bottle feeding, toileting, dressing, and nap time.
- Support mealtime preparation, supervision, and cleanup.
- Foster a kind, inclusive, and positive atmosphere that supports children’s social and emotional development.
- Maintain strong communication with Lead Teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress and concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent events, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred
- Previous experience in a daycare, nursery, or preschool setting (infants–pre-K) required
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Passion for creating a nurturing and educational environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $18–$22 per hour (commensurate with experience and education)
