Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and vigilant Unarmed/Armed Security Personnel to uphold safety and security across various premises. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. Whether managing physical security measures or responding to emergencies, your proactive approach will help maintain a safe environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV to identify suspicious activity and ensure property safety.
- Control access points using access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for entry.
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, following established emergency response procedures.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities.
- Perform background checks on potential employees or visitors as part of security screening processes.
- Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully and professionally.
- Operate security equipment including Taser, firearm handling (if armed), AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and perform first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Enforce compliance with security regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in performing manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting during patrols or equipment movement.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies as required.
- Maintain thorough records of patrols, incidents, and access logs for accountability and reporting purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience in physical security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control systems.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety is preferred.
- Experience with incident report writing and conflict management techniques.
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures and compliance with security regulations is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely in various environments.
- Prior experience operating Taser devices or firearms (for armed personnel) is advantageous but not mandatory.
