We are seeking an exsperienced skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. This role requires a strong understanding of refrigeration mechanics and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively. The HVAC Technician will work in various settings, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and meets safety standards.
Duties
- Install, maintain and Repair HVAC systems and units.
- Perform routine inspections and diagnostics on HVAC equipment to identify issues.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components and ensuring proper functionality.
- Conduct repairs on mechanical components and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC needs in various facilities.
- Provide field service support for clients, ensuring timely responses to service requests.
- Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in HVAC technology.
Skills
- Proficiency in equipment repair with a focus on HVAC systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience as a mechanic or service technician.
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and their design principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently in both field service and property maintenance settings.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards in all tasks performed.
