Job Overview

Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, learning technology, and age-appropriate activities for preschool and kindergarten students.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to organize instructional materials, track student progress, and communicate with parents and colleagues effectively.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of children with disabilities or special education requirements, ensuring inclusive classroom practices.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective conflict management and behavior management techniques to foster a positive learning environment.
- Assess student performance regularly using quantitative analysis for student progress evaluation and analyze student performance data to tailor instruction accordingly.
- Incorporate Montessori, preschool, or toddler care methodologies to enhance early childhood education experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues on instructional design, literacy education, math instruction, physical education activities, and library services to enrich the curriculum.
Skills
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Proven experience in classroom management and behavior management strategies for young children.
- Proficiency in lesson planning that integrates instructional design, educational compliance, and regulation understanding.
- Familiarity with special education needs and working with individuals with disabilities to ensure equitable learning opportunities.
- Ability to analyze student data for academic advising and progress tracking; experience with Learning Technology tools is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively.
- Experience teaching physical education or working within private school settings is a plus; writing skills are essential for documentation and reporting purposes.
