Who We Are:
In 2011, the first Miznon opened in Tel Aviv and has since expanded to Paris, Melbourne, Singapore, Toronto, Las Vegas, London—and in 2018, the first U.S. Miznon opened in Chelsea Market, NYC.
We use fresh, seasonally inspired ingredients to create a new kind of Mediterranean street food. Our vision is to take the flavor of each city and translate it into pita.

This role requires strong multitasking abilities, a genuine hospitality mindset, and the energy and flexibility to contribute wherever the team needs support.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items in accordance with Miznon's recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
- Execute all assigned station duties with efficiency and consistency during service
- Set up and break down station before and after each shift, including stocking, labeling, and proper storage of all ingredients
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times in compliance with California Health and Safety Code requirements
- Properly handle, store, and rotate food products following FIFO procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Operate all kitchen equipment safely and report any equipment malfunctions to management immediately
- Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout service and communicate any concerns to the lead cook or chef
- Bussing & Resetting Tables: Clear and sanitize tables efficiently between guests, resetting according to Miznon's standards to keep the dining area clean and ready.
- Management-Delegated Tasks: Support the team by taking on additional duties as assigned by management, including but not limited to stocking supplies, assisting with special events, or supporting other departments during high-volume periods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 2 years' cooking experience
- California Food Handlers certified
- Excellent listening and communication skills; a true team-first attitude is essential.
- Problem solver: resourceful and proactive when challenges arise.
- Demonstrates accountability — sets high expectations and follows through regardless of the circumstances.
- Sense of urgency and composure under pressure.
- Ability to carry trays and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
- Maintains a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and late hours when required.
- Reliable and punctual — reports to work on time and as scheduled.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
- Guest-responsive mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
- Friendly, engaging, and professional demeanor with all guests and team members.
- Positive, energetic, and authentic attitude throughout every shift.
- Collaborative team player who supports lateral service across departments.
Pay:
- $18.42 per hour plus tips
Physical Requirements:
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 lbs, with assistance for heavier loads.
- Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
