Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, using Toast POS systems.
- Engage with guests warmly, taking orders, offering recommendations, and ensuring their experience exceeds expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling duties, including cashiering and balancing registers at the end of shifts, utilizing retail math skills.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving practices in compliance with alcohol regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy hours, including banquet or catering events.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently while providing attentive customer service in lively environments like nightclubs or fine dining settings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast; previous cashiering or retail math experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods, demonstrating excellent multitasking skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management.
- Experience with beverage preparation techniques, brewing processes, or hospitality operations is advantageous. Pay: $21.70 - $26.14 per hour
