American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with 1+ year experience for an outpatient children's specialized hospital setting, requiring active NJ or Compact license and Epic experience.

Patient population includes pediatric and adolescent cases

Approximately 9 patient visits per day
-
13-week contract at 40 hours per week

Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule, 8:00 AM-6:30 PM, working either Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday

No weekend requirement

No floating required
-
No on-call requirement

Uses Epic EMR system

Utilizes specialized OT equipment

Active NJ State license or Compact license required (if applicable)

Minimum 1 year of experience required
-
BLS certification required
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Experience with pediatric patient populations preferred
-
Skills in prosthetics/orthotics, splinting (dynamic, functional, static), and serial/inhibitory casting preferred
-
Experience with orthopedic conditions including hand injuries, hip fractures, and knee injuries preferred
-
Experience with modalities such as biofeedback, electrical stimulation, TENS, and ultrasound preferred

Experience with activities of daily living (ADL) training preferred

First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Previous RWJBH staff must have a minimum 1-year break from the health system before becoming eligible for travel assignments
