Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned)

Provide a variety of case management, skills training, support services as required for persons with developmental disabilities, severe and persistent mental illness, and chemical dependency

Connect clients with community resources (i.e. housing, food stamps, insurance, social security, etc.)

Advocate for benefits on behalf of client

Provide a variety of life skills training to clientele
-
Ability to operate office equipment (computer, copy machine, scanner, etc.)
-
Ability to multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines, and remain calm and professional under pressure
-
Maintain standards of confidentiality of Lifeways’ clients and records
Required:
-
BA degree in social work, behavioral health, or related field
-
Two years of experience with individuals with severe or persistent mental illness, or alcohol and drug dependency
-
Or a combination of education and related work experience
-
Valid driver’s license
-
Appropriate state licensure
-
Successful completion of background check
Preferred:

Bilingual/multilingual

Experience with electronic medical records and telemedicine
