Position Summary
The Bartender is the face of the Amazónico Miami bar experience—crafting exceptional cocktails, providing intuitive and engaging service, and bringing the vibrant rainforest energy of our brand to every guest interaction. This role requires deep product knowledge, speed, precision, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft & Serve Drinks: Prepare classic and signature Amazónico cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy, artistry, and flair.
- Guest Experience: Provide a warm, personalized welcome; guide guests through the menu; offer recommendations and pairings that enhance their dining journey.
- Bar Setup & Maintenance: Stock and organize all spirits, garnishes, glassware, and tools; ensure cleanliness and readiness before, during, and after service.
- Sales & Upselling: Promote featured cocktails, rare spirits, and premium experiences to elevate guest enjoyment and maximize revenue.
- Compliance & Safety: Follow all health, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines in accordance with Florida law and Amazónico Miami standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate seamlessly with servers, barbacks, and management to ensure an efficient flow of service.
- Cash Handling: Accurately manage guest tabs, process payments, and adhere to company cash-handling procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of high-volume, upscale or fine-dining bartending experience.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, craft mixology techniques, and premium spirits, wine, and beer.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, guest engagement, and upselling skills.
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Current Florida Responsible Vendor/Alcohol Server certification (or ability to obtain).
