Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state license (NC) or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience with elementary school caseloads preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and school teams
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and manage required documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
- Deliver direct and consultative services, both in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and comply with all reporting requirements
- Participate in IEP and other school-based meetings as a valued team member
- Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and evidence-based interventions
