Girls on the Grid Line is a pre-apprenticeship and workforce development initiative dedicated to empowering young women to explore and enter high-demand careers in the utility and skilled trades industries. The program provides hands-on technical training, leadership development, and industry exposure to prepare participants for successful entry into registered apprenticeship programs and sustainable utility careers.
Position Summary
The Part-Time Wastewater/Water Instructor is responsible for teaching foundational concepts and applied technical skills related to water treatment, wastewater operations, safety, and environmental stewardship.
The instructor will facilitate classroom and hands-on learning experiences that prepare participants for entry-level roles or further training in water and wastewater utility operations. This position plays a key role in bridging technical education with real-world industry practices, helping participants understand how clean water and infrastructure careers power communities.
