Job Description:
Brownco Construction, a well-established construction company in Anaheim, CA, is seeking a Concrete Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced construction environment, be physically fit, and able to work long hours in all weather conditions. The Concrete Construction Laborer will work under the direction of the Foreman and be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the preparation of construction sites, handing materials, demolition, excavation, concrete placement and general clean up
· Operate various hand tools and equipment, including rebar shears, jackhammers, and rotor hammers
· Follow safety procedures and always wear appropriate personal protective equipment
· Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Foreman
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 4 years previous experience in concrete construction is preferred.
· Knowledge of construction materials and tools.
· Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
· Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
· Must pass drug test
