<Job Summary>
Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children by providing expert behavioral health support. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based therapy and personalized treatment plans to promote positive behavioral change. As a Behavior Technician, you’ll deliver one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism and related developmental differences. Under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you’ll follow individualized treatment plans, collect data, and help build skills in communication, social interaction, and daily living. <Responsibilities>
- Work effectively in client's home
- Implement individualized ABA programs under the direction of the supervising BCBA
- Collect and record accurate session data using agency-approved software
- Maintain professional communication with supervisors, families and team members
- Participate in required training sessions and team meetings
- Support the generalization of client skills across multiple settings and caregivers
- Ensure compliance with all clinical, ethical and confidentiality standards
<Requirements>
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Effective time management skills
- Work flexible hours to meet program requirements
- Commute to various areas in the San Diego county
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Excel, MS Word
- Available to work on Saturdays based on operational needs
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check and motor vehicle record check
- Must be able to submit verification of authorization to work in the U.S.A. upon hire
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities requried
- Ability to work 10 - 40 hours / week
- Valid California Class C driver's license, valid insurance, and own transportation
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and eager to learn
- RBT certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
