- Support menu planning efforts by suggesting creative ideas for daily specials or seasonal dishes
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining proper storage temperatures
- Participate in catering events or special functions as needed, ensuring timely and high-quality meal delivery
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred
- Demonstrated culinary experience with proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with dietary department standards or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of meal preparation methods required
- Experience with food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices essential for this role
- Background in the food industry or kitchen experience that showcases your ability to thrive under pressure
